Each hospital has a TAVR coordinator who is a the main contact for patients, families, physicians and other members of the team. The coordinator is a nurse or physician assistant who organizes and schedules the consultation, screenings, procedure and follow up. The coordinator also educates the patient and their family on the procedure and helps to provide seamless care.
